3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film

3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film is about the toughest PPF on the market.  It features a a patented Flexible Clear Coat technology that keeps your customers clear bra looking newer, longer.

Why 3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film?

Installed on new and used vehicles, 3M Paint Protection Film, also known as “clear bra”, is a nearly invisible film that is applied to the painted surfaces of your car (hood, fender, bumper, mirrors) to protect them from road debris such as rocks, bugs, salt, etc.

Made of a 6 mil (.006”) thick clear urethane plastic (commonly referred to as 8mil with the adhesive), 3M Paint Protection Film was initially designed to protect helicopter blades from debris during the Vietnam War. Since then, it has been used by various auto manufacturers and NASCAR teams to protect painted surfaces from rock chips.

3M Scotchgard is also available in a 12 mil film, that is perfect for protecting other high impact areas such as rocker panels and headlamps.

Maintain the appearance of your vehicle and enhance its trade-in value by protecting its paint with 3M Paint Protection Film

3M Scotchgard Paint Protection Film’s clear coat technology makes this film less porous than competitive brands of ppf. A less porous film means that it will retain it’s gloss longer, and is less likely to discolor over time. 3M Paint Protection Film is also more resistant to staining from things such as bugs, tree sap, hard water spots, etc., and in the event that you find a spot on your paint protection film, the clear coat is similar to the clear coat on your vehicles paint, so you can even buff this film!

Also great for wear and tear areas that take everyday abuse, such as door edges, door cups and trunk ledges.

Available in 4", 6", 12", 18", 24", 30", 36" & 48" x 120' rolls.  Partial rolls, sheets and pre-cut kits are also available from AeroTect.
